Get the Seller app
Selling runs on the Android Seller app. Scan the QR code or tap Google Play to install. After install, follow the account steps in the next section.

How to create your seller account

Install the Seller app
Download Ghar Thak Seller from Google Play (button or QR below). Use an Android phone you keep with you for orders.

Create your seller account
Open the app and sign up with your name, mobile number, and a password. Use a number you answer — customers and riders may call.

Set up your shop
Add shop name, address, and pin your location on the map. Complete profile details so nearby shoppers can find you.

Wait for admin approval
New shops start as pending. Ghar Thak admin reviews and approves your shop before it appears on the mall.

Add products & go live
List products with price and category. Keep availability updated. When approved and open, customers can place COD orders.

Accept orders & prepare
When an order arrives, accept it in the app, prepare the items, then mark ready for pickup so a rider can claim delivery.

Common seller questions
Is selling free to join?+
Creating a seller account and listing products does not require an upfront fee. Ghar Thak may take a commission on delivered COD orders — the rate is set by admin.
How do I get paid?+
Orders are cash on delivery. The rider collects cash from the customer. Settlements and payouts for your share are handled by Ghar Thak admin according to platform payout rules.
Can I sell from the website instead of the app?+
Seller tools (shop setup, products, accepting orders) are designed for the Seller app. This website is the customer mall. Use the app after you install it from Google Play.
Why is my shop not visible yet?+
Shops and products need admin approval. Until approval, customers will not see your listings. Keep your shop details complete and contact admin if you are waiting a long time.
What products can I sell?+
List items that match Ghar Thak categories (food, grocery, electronics, and more). Forbidden or illegal items are not allowed. Admin may reject products that break policy.
Do I need a shop address and map pin?+
Yes. Riders pick up from your shop location. Accurate address and coordinates help nearby customers and faster delivery.
What if I need to reject an order?+
If you cannot fulfill an order, reject it promptly in the app so the customer is not left waiting. Repeated rejections may affect your standing.
Who delivers the order?+
After you mark an order ready, a Ghar Thak rider claims it, picks up from your shop, and delivers to the customer for COD.
Can I use the same phone as my customer account?+
Seller accounts are separate from customer accounts. Prefer one dedicated seller login. Admin creates or promotes seller roles — website self-signup is for shoppers only.
The Play Store button is missing — what now?+
The seller app link is added by Ghar Thak admin when the Android app is published. Check back soon, or contact support / admin for early access instructions.
Already a shopper? Keep using the mall as usual. Seller tools stay in the Seller app after approval.
