This page explains how delivery works on Ghar Thak, including city rules, the live fee chart used at checkout, and coverage limits.

1. City-local delivery

Orders are fulfilled within the same marketplace city as the shops you browse. Quetta, Karachi, Lahore, and other live cities each have their own local catalog. Cross-city shopping is not the product model.

2. Ghar Tak Delivery

All mall deliveries use Ghar Tak Delivery: a platform rider picks up from the seller and delivers to you. A separate “Seller Delivery” badge or self-delivery mode is not offered in the apps today. Sellers prepare parcels; riders carry them.

3. Distance band (~30 km) and coverage

Delivery fees are calculated from the distance between your pin and each shop, with bands up to about 30 km (fee capped beyond that). Delivery availability depends on rider availability and service coverage. A quoted fee does not guarantee that a rider can always complete every trip.

4. How the fee is calculated

Total delivery fee = distance fee + weight surcharge. Distance is rounded up to the next whole kilometre. Product weight defaults to 0.5 kg when not set. Multi-shop carts quote each shop separately. Checkout amounts are authoritative for that order.

5. Open parcel on delivery

Parcels are allowed to be opened before you pay COD. See Returns, Refund & COD for refusal and final-sale rules.

6. Responsibilities (high level)

Customers: accurate address/pin, fair inspection, pay COD when accepting. Sellers: truthful listings, timely packing, lawful goods; commission and monthly rent as configured by admin. Riders: careful handling, allow inspection, collect only the stated COD, remit per platform rules. Ghar Thak: marketplace coordination, fee tables, and dispute review where applicable.

Delivery availability depends on rider availability and service coverage.
