Delete your Ghar Thak account

This page is for Ghar Thak, Ghar Thak Seller, and Ghar Thak Rider (the apps and website). It explains how to request that your account and personal data be deleted, what we remove, and what we must keep.

How to delete your account (in the app)

1. Open Ghar Thak, Ghar Thak Seller, or Ghar Thak Rider and sign in. 2. Go to Account (profile / settings). 3. Open Delete account. 4. Type DELETE and confirm. Your login is closed immediately. If you cannot sign in, use the WhatsApp request below.

How to request deletion without signing in

Open Ghar Thak on the web or in the app, tap WhatsApp support (or the support number on the site), and write: “Please delete my Ghar Thak account.” Include the phone number or email on the account. We process requests within 30 days.

Data we delete

We delete or de-identify: your name, phone, email, profile photo, saved location pin, login password, Google sign-in link, sessions, push tokens, and the ability to sign in. Seller shops are closed. Rider accounts are set offline. You cannot use that login again.

Data we keep, and for how long

We keep anonymized order, delivery, payment, and dispute records as long as needed for tax, fraud prevention, and legal claims in Pakistan (typically up to 7 years). Those records no longer show your name, phone, or email. We do not keep your password or live location after deletion.

Delete some data without closing the account

You can change or clear name, phone, and email in Account without deleting the account. To remove a profile photo, saved address/pin, or other specific personal data while keeping the login, message WhatsApp support with what you want removed. We handle that within 30 days.
